2-way Porsche Sport Seat Plus Recliner Brackets Overview:

The Sport Seat Plus (2-way) seats have always had a bit of room for improvement for comfort. Please note that these SSP (2-way) seats are not the light weight carbon fiber seats! These DBJ recliner brackets raise your seat in the front by ~1" (24mm) increasing the recline angle for your OEM seats. This helps increase comfort during long drives by increasing lower back support and also raises the seat cushion height right above your knees for extra support especially for those with longer legs. Another added benefit is slightly increased head room as well due to the extra recline.

Our design focuses on cost reduction and hiding away in your OEM interior. Brackets are symmetrical to reduce your cost and we only offer fully anodized parts and black hardware. Each set comes with 2 brackets and hardware for 1 seat.

Features:

  • Adds lift above the knees for more comfort for those with longer legs

  • Improves lower back support

  • Increases head clearance

  • Made from AL6061-T6, these brackets are plenty strong for all kinds of driving styles and duty.

  • Anodized in black these brackets blend right in with your OEM interior.

  • All hardware in black finish

  • Easy installation, requiring the removal of just 2 bolts while leaving the OEM Seat in the vehicle. (see installation instructions)

  • Fits Porsche Sport Seat Plus (2-ways)

3D Scanning & Prototyping

Each DBJ product goes through several rigorous design phases. Starting from scratch, we collect high accuracy scanned data from cars to ensure great fitment. Data is then processed and models and designs are created using CAD software. Prototyping using 3D rapid prototyping printers are used to confirm scans and fitment. Sometimes we are able to print out entirely functional parts for road and track testing.

Computational Fluid Dynamics

Initial designs are tested using both finite element analysis (FEA) and computation fluid dynamics (CFD). Both these methods require several iterations to ensure proper performance and optimization of DBJ parts.

Real world testing

Finally once the design is completed, we test our prototypes on the street and track! Thoroughly test driving our products helps ensure that our customers have nothing but the best experiences when it comes to installation and performance results.
